It has been a while since I posted a new blog, and MANY changes have happened at Spooky Galveston/Ghost Tours of Galveston.
The biggest change I have made is that I closed the shop on the Strand. It was not an easy decision to make, but it was necessary. I have found more success at markets than I ever did being on the 3rd floor of a building in town, and I can plan to attend markets where I could not commit to the hourly requirements of the landlord due to my tour schedule.
I will be reading tarot and vending at the Shadow Alley Market on Sunday in Houston. Come see me there!
The Ghostly Tales of the Galveston Naval Museum will be returning at the end of August, and we are THRILLED to be working with them again this year! A portion of the ticket sales goes to the museum, which helps support their mission of preserving the vessels and the WWII history they represent!
The 125th anniversary of the 1900 Storm is fast approaching (September 8th!), and there will be a few events to commemorate the event. There will be TWO events at The Galveston Naval Museum, and details will be released soon!
The heat is becoming unbearable for daytime walking tours, so we are offering the Great Storm Talk and Tour at the Galveston County Museum at 9 am daily, Monday through Friday. We will meet at the Museum and do the talking portion with a tour of the exhibit, and then head out for the walking portion. Please feel free to bring water to carry on the tour, and we will stop along the way in the event you need to get a beverage. Wear sunscreen and comfortable clothing, and walking shoes.
